The divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pittsurprised everyone last September. From that moment on, neither of the two Hollywood stars had made any public appearances, until last Wednesday, November 9, when the 52-year-old actor reappeared in Los Angeles for the ‘Allied’ premiere, a film in which he played a leading role with Marion Cotillard.
Without his wedding ring, Brad Pitt was smiling and attentive to his fans thanking them by saying: "It is very nice to have your support. They've all been very kind to me." The actor was accompanied by his co-star and posed in front of the photographers demonstrating that all the rumors that accused the French actress of being the culprit of the separation of the pair were left behind. The chemistry between the actors in the film generated speculations of an alleged relation during filming and was even said that Angelina Jolie had contracted a private detective. Marion Cotillard herself decided to end those rumors through social media telling how happy she is with her partner, Gillaume Canet, and revealing that she is in the sweet waiting for their second child, a pregnancy she showed off on the red carpet.
On the other hand, hours before the return of Brad Pitt in Los Angeles, he received the news that he had been released from charges of possible abuse against one of his children. TMZ reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Childhood and Family Services determined, after investigating what happened when the actor allegedly verbally and physically abused his son Maddox, that there was no crime in the incident last September aboard the private plane of the family.
Last week, Angelina Jolie announced in a statement that the actress and Brad Pitt had signed a new custody agreement for their six children: Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 12, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 11, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 10, and twins Knox Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 8. "We can confirm that child care professionals have fostered a legal agreement that was accepted and signed by both parties more than a week ago. Under this agreement, the six children will remain in custody of their mother, and will continue the therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by children's professionals for the benefit of minors," said the representative of the 41-year-old artist. However, according to sources close to Brad Pitt, Brad Pitt has in mind to continue struggling to secure the shared custody of his children.
