Grinning from ear to ear (1) in the arms of her long-term partner, Jake Bongiovi, 19-year-old Millie Bobby Brown was the picture of happiness in her recent Instagram post. But this isn’t just any loved-up photo: judging from the dazzling rock on her ring finger and the romantic caption, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all”, the sweet pic appears to be an engagement announcement.
The comment section has exploded with well-wishing messages from friends, family and fans, and has racked up (2) well over 10 million likes. Paris Hilton wrote “Congratulations beautiful!”, while Millie’s beau posted two snaps of the couple on his own page with the caption “Forever”.
The British actress rose to fame after starring in the Netflix series Stranger Things, which she began filming aged just 11. Since then, her career has gone from strength to strength (3), with the starlet having featured in films such as Enola Holmes as well as launching her own beauty line, Florence by Mills.
Fans are particularly obsessed with her relationship with Jake, one of pop icon Jon Bon Jovi’s four children. And when Millie featured in a WIRED video on the "Web’s Most Searched Questions" she finally answered the question that's been on everybody’s mind (4): how did she and Jake meet? Smiling, she replied: “We met on Instagram, the old Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?”

The pair went Instagram official in November 2021, sharing a blurry photo of themselves kissing. Since then they’ve been inseparable, with Millie calling 20-year-old Jake her “partner for life” in a post dating from last January. An upload marking Millie’s birthday earlier this year proved that her other half is equally smitten (5), with Jake sharing a sweet photo carousel of the pair alongside a gushing caption: “Another year around the sun together happy 19th to the girl of my dreams. I love you more than words can describe. Everything about you is golden down to the core.”
