Piqué takes his sons to a waterpark in Spain while Shakira reconnects with Antonio de la Rúa in the Dominican Republic [PHOTOS]

Gerard Piqué is making the most of his summer with his two sons, Milan and Sasha, enjoying quality family time during their stay in Spain. The former FC Barcelona defender recently spent a day at PortAventura World, where he focused on creating memorable moments with his children while keeping a low profile.

The visit comes during Piqué's scheduled summer parenting time with Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11, who primarily live in Miami with their mother, Shakira. With fewer opportunities to spend extended periods together throughout the year, the retired footballer appears determined to make every moment count.

Gerard Piqué Enjoys a Family Day at PortAventura World

According to Vanitatis, later echoed by ¡HOLA!, PortAventura World on Spain's Costa Daurada was the setting for the family's latest summer outing. The popular theme park attracts large crowds during the holiday season, making it difficult for public figures to go unnoticed.

Piqué was accompanying Milan and Sasha on several attractions while remaining attentive to their privacy. Rather than embracing the attention that often follows him, the former footballer politely asked visitors not to photograph his children whenever people approached with smartphones.

Later in the evening, Piqué and his sons were reportedly seen with a group of friends watching one of PortAventura's popular nighttime shows, a regular attraction during the busy summer season. 

Clara Chía Was Not Present

Clara Chía did not accompany Piqué during the outing. Instead, the former footballer dedicated the day exclusively to spending time with Milan and Sasha. Reports indicate he deliberately kept the visit focused on the children while trying to avoid attracting attention despite the large number of visitors at the Tarragona theme park. 

Since Milan and Sasha relocated to the United States with Shakira following their parents' custody agreement, summers in Spain have become particularly meaningful for Piqué.

During these visits, he has regularly organized activities that allow the boys to reconnect with family and friends in Catalonia. Time with their paternal grandparents and familiar surroundings has become an important part of their summer routine alongside outings to local attractions.

Although Piqué and Shakira ended their relationship in 2022, both continue to prioritize co-parenting and maintaining stability for their children.

Shakira's Reunion With Antonio de la Rúa Sparks Interest

While Piqué has been spending time with Milan and Sasha, Shakira has also attracted media attention after appearing in a photo with former partner Antonio de la Rúa during a gathering in Miches, Dominican Republic.

The image, shared by tourism developer George Nader, also included Shakira's brother, Tonino Mebarak. The reunion marked the first public photo of the former couple together in more than 15 years and highlighted what appears to be a cordial relationship after years of legal disputes following their breakup.
