The celeb decided to explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Zion National Park in Utah and Antelope Canyon in Arizona
Traveling is one of life's great pleasures, and a favorite of Miley Cyrus'. The celeb put her busy schedule on hold –literally– and immersed herself in the natural wonders of Zion National Park, one of the most in vogue destinations in tourism and lifestyle. Showcasing her wanderlust, the hit artist, along with her sister and mother, visited its main attractions and of course, left a trail of photographic breadcrumbs behind on social media.
The Mother's Daughter singer reveled in days out hiking, kayaking, or simply documenting the changing colors of the skies, which is –without a doubt– an invitation to all those planning their next holiday and considering the Southwestern USA. Here's a quick look at some of the things that await you.
Rock Formations
Located in the state of Utah, this nature reserve is famous for the reddish pink mountain passes of its namesake, the Zion Canyon. Miley showed us just how steep these spectacular sandstone rock formations really are.
Adventurous Tourism
Intrepid in travel as well as dress sense, the actress and singer opted for a sporty activity on the crystalline waters of the Virgin River, as well as the incredible Emerald Pools, whose soft current makes them perfect for group tours.

Geography, Flora, and Fauna
Zion falls between the Great Basin, the Mojave Desert, and the Colorado Plateau, making it a place with a unique ecosystem in which you can find a wide range of species of brightly-colored flowers, as well as birds, reptiles, and mammals such as deer.
Antelope Canyon in Arizona
Another must-see while traveling in the Southwest USA is Antelope Canyon on the edge of Lake Powell. This impressive desert setting to the north of Arizona is made up of meandering –and very narrow– canyons of immense beauty and orange hues which were also one of Miley Cyrus' stops.
