Neve Campbell will be returning as one of the series' regulars

Netflix has shared that the new season will be made up of 10 episodes and that it will enter production next month. The series will return with most of its main cast, including Becky Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Neve Campbell, who'll be returning for the entire season.

"The Lincoln Lawyer" is based on the series of books of the same name written by Michael Connelly. The series was adapted for the screen by David E. Kelley, who's previously been involved in shows like "Ally McBeal," "Big Little Lies," and more.

“We are so excited to tell more stories with Mickey Haller, and especially thrilled to once again be shooting The Lincoln Lawyer in Los Angeles at this time,” said co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, according to Deadline.

“The show is in many ways a love letter to our city and an homage to the great tradition of LA noir, and after the tragedy of the fires we are so grateful and honored to be able to provide some stability and hope to the community.”

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo reveals what he loves about Mickey Haller

In an interview with HOLA!, Garcia-Rulfo opened up about his career and the hard work he's put in over the past year, where he's starred in back-to-back projects that include "Pedro Paramo," "The Lincoln Lawyer" and "Jurassic Park."

When discussing his Netflix series, he shared some of the traits that he loved most about his character.

"I think what’s so interesting about ‘Mickey Haller,’ the character Michael created, is that he’s always on top but still very vulnerable and full of flaws— his addiction, and there are always so many obstacles in his life: two marriages, or three, his daughter, the legal cases, and then someone close to him gets killed," he said.

"It’s satisfying to follow a hero," he said of the series. "When he’s down and fighting to get back up with so many obstacles. People connect with that. I think that’s why it works so well.
