Gisele Bündchen goes on bike ride with Joaquim Valente in Rio

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are visiting her hometown. The married couple has been enjoying a busy couple of weeks, enjoying family getaways and celebrating Bündchen's 46th birthday.

In photos shared earlier this week, Bündchen and Valente were photographed on the beachfront in Rio de Janeiro. The two were getting their workout in, with the two wearing sporty clothes as they cycled from Copacabana to Leblon, blending with residents. 

Bündchen wore a matching green sports bra and tights, paired with sneakers and a white cap. 

Valente wore green sports shorts, sneakers, a black T-shirt, and a matching cap. The two were seen chatting as they paused their bike ride.

Bündchen's vacation in Tahiti

Earlier this month, Bündchen celebrated her birthday in Tahiti, alongside her husband and kids. "Thank you all for the love and birthday wishes." 

 "I feel so grateful for this new cycle that's beginning and for all the adventures that lie ahead. May the love and kindness you share return to each of you a thousandfold," she captioned a post she shared on Instagram.

She shared various photos of her family, including a photo of herself and her baby with Valente in the water, wearing a white bikini, with her baby wearing adorable matching swim shorts. Valente was also photographed in the ocean, carrying their adorable son, and showcasing his blonde hair as they stood next to a stingray swimming by them. 

Bündchen and Valente met through her children, with him teaching her son jiu-jitsu. He then began teaching Bündchen. "Initially, I wasn't even considering it for myself," she said in an interview with Dust Magazine. "But when I brought [her son] to the first class and started talking to Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense."

Bündchen revealed that she was attracted to the philosophy of jiu-jitsu. "It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life, and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself."
