Gisele Bündchen is back on one of the biggest stages of her career. Sort of. The 46-year-old Brazilian supermodel made a surprise appearance at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which was hosted in Los Angeles after being hosted in New York over the past two years.
© Fairchild ArchiveBündchen kicked off the fashion show with a video appearance. "Are you ready for the show?" she asked, lounging on a couch in a pink and lacy set of bra and underwear.
She made another appearance following the show's finale, when all of the models walked out on the runway and celebrated a successful show. “Wasn’t that amazing,” she said, holding on to a bowl of popcorn. Most excitingly, Bündchen teased a comeback.
“You are going to be seeing more of me real soon. Ciao!”
Bündchen's injury
It's unknown if Bündchen was planning on being a part of this year's show, but she was recently photographed on the beaches of Miami with a medical boot on and some crutches.
Bündchen is one of the most famous supermodels of all time, having a long partnership with Victoria's Secret. She began working with the company in 2000, after signing a $25 million contract. She retired in 2006, and in her memoir she wrote that walking the runway in lingerie became progressively more difficult as the years passed.

“Give me a tail, a cape, wings - please, anything to cover me up a little!”
Despite her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show retirement, Bündchen has continued to collaborate with the company. In 2023, she was featured as a model on Victoria's Secret The Icon Line, alongside models like Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Bieber, and more.
