Tia Blanco is embracing every moment of her second pregnancy, even if it means missing out on some of the best surf conditions of her life. The professional surfer and mom recently shared a heartfelt reflection on social media, revealing that she watched an incredible swell from the beach rather than paddling out into the water. While the decision wasn't easy, Blanco made it clear that her growing family remains her top priority.

"Although I’m still surfing, I know my limits and what I feel comfortable with surfing pregnant," Blanco wrote on Instagram. "It was definitely challenging not being able to surf one of the best swells of the decade here the past couple days."

For an athlete whose life revolves around the ocean, sitting on the sidelines during such a significant surf event came with mixed emotions. Blanco admitted experiencing a little fear of missing out as she watched the waves roll in from shore. Instead of chasing the swell, she spent the day with her daughter, Honey, enjoying time together on the beach while reflecting on the exciting journey ahead. "I watched the waves all day from the beach, feeling a little FOMO as I sat back, played with Honey on the beach, and carried baby #2," she shared.

Despite the temptation to join fellow surfers in the water, Blanco said there was no doubt in her mind that she made the right choice. "But as much as I would’ve loved being out there, there isn’t a single part of me that would trade being almost 7 months pregnant with Honey’s future best friend," she added.

The update offers a glimpse into how Blanco is navigating pregnancy while maintaining her active lifestyle. The surfer has continued to stay connected to the sport she loves, but she is also listening to her body and adjusting her activities as she approaches the final stretch of pregnancy.

She ended her reflection with a reminder that the ocean will always be there when the time is right. "The waves will always come back. These moments won’t. Mama will be out there soon enough," Brody Jenner’s wife wrote.
