Kate Middleton is having an unforgettable summer. Over the past few days, the Princess of Wales has shown different sides of herself, tackling an ambitious outdoor challenge while also maintaining her regular appearances at one of Britain's biggest sporting events. On Monday, she's back to work with a visit to London's Evelina Children's Hospital.
Middleton recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours. After completing the charity challenge, which she did to benefit cancer treatment, a cause close to her heart, the Princess celebrated with her family by her side.
Photos from the outing drew attention to how much Princess Charlotte has grown, with the young royal sporting a modern hiking outfit complete with sneakers.
Kate Middleton's very different looks over the past week
Kate's wardrobe has reflected the wide range of engagements on her schedule. During the Three Peaks Challenge, she wore technical outdoor gear, including a thermal cardigan from Karkila, a Fjällräven cap, and a matching backpack designed for hiking.
Just days later at Wimbledon, where she serves as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, she embraced summer elegance in a pale blue linen suit paired with a white H&M top, a woven Anya Hindmarch bag, and caramel-colored Ralph Lauren pumps.
The story behind Kate Middleton's white dress
For her latest engagement, the Princess opted for understated sophistication, a style she's pionered. She wore a white midi shirt dress featuring black front buttons, double-breasted detailing across the bodice, and subtly puffed short sleeves.
The custom-made design is based on Suzannah London's Flippy Wiggle Dress, a style from the British label that Kate has now worn publicly five times.
She first debuted the dress on July 2, 2019, while attending Wimbledon as the Duchess of Cambridge. Since then, she has worn it again on August 4, 2020, June 14, 2022, May 4, 2023, and now once more on July 6, 2026.
The dress originally comes with a matching white belt, but Kate has occasionally swapped it for a black belt to complement the contrasting buttons, as she did for Monday's appearance.
Kate Middleton's new designer shoes
To complete the monochrome look, Kate debuted a new pair of black slingback heels. The pointed-toe design features patent leather caps and crystal embellishments on the side. The shoes are the Lucia Slingback by British designer Camilla Elphick, a style she already owns in a nude shade.
Keeping with the outfit's understated aesthetic, the Princess chose minimal jewelry. Alongside her sapphire engagement ring, which once belonged to the late Princess Diana, she wore classic drop pearl earrings and a simple green cord bracelet on her left wrist.
