Princess Charlotte is growing up fast, and her latest appearance has royal watchers talking for more than one reason.

The Princess of Wales recently shared a series of heartwarming family photographs to mark one week since completing the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

While the images captured an emotional family reunion after Kate Middleton crossed the finish line, many royal fans couldn't help but notice how much 11-year-old Charlotte has grown.

Beyond her height, appearing almost as tall as her mother in some photos, it was Charlotte's effortlessly cool outfit that stole the spotlight.

Dressed in flared jeans, a navy sweater and Adidas Gazelle sneakers, the young royal looked strikingly similar to her father, Prince William, whose relaxed denim-and-knitwear combinations became some of his most memorable off-duty looks during the 1990s.

While Charlotte is typically seen in elegant dresses, tailored coats and classic silhouettes during official royal engagements, this family outing showcased a more relaxed and contemporary side of her wardrobe.

The princess wore a navy crewneck sweater from J.Crew, paired with flattering Polo Ralph Lauren flared jeans. A denim silhouette that has made a major comeback in recent seasons.

She completed the look with a brand-new pair of blue-and-orange Adidas Gazelle sneakers, a style that has become a favorite among fashion influencers and celebrities alike.

During his teenage years, the future king was often photographed wearing oversized navy sweaters paired with relaxed light-wash jeans, creating an understated style that became synonymous with the era.

Although Charlotte updated the look with modern sneakers and a darker wash of denim, the resemblance between father and daughter is unmistakable, proving that timeless style can run in the family.

Charlotte's wardrobe is entering a new chapter:

Charlotte's latest appearance is another sign that her royal wardrobe is evolving as she grows older.

Throughout her childhood, the princess has become known for wearing timeless designs from beloved children's labels including La Coqueta, Rachel Riley and Pepa London. Her polished outfits have frequently influenced children's fashion while remaining perfectly age-appropriate.

However, since celebrating her 11th birthday in May, royal style watchers have noticed a subtle shift toward more mature designer pieces that bridge the gap between children's clothing and teenage fashion.

At this year's Trooping the Colour celebrations, Charlotte wore a bespoke ivory dress by Alessandra Rich featuring delicate embellishments and an oversized bow at the back. She completed the outfit with a Jane Taylor London hair bow and Spanish-made shoes from Pretty Ballerinas.

For her official 11th birthday portrait, she also departed from traditional children's clothing, wearing a striped Ralph Lauren knit from the brand's women's collection.

Earlier this year, during the royal family's Easter Sunday church service, she stepped out in a tailored Catherine Walker coat layered over a pale blue Self-Portrait dress, finishing the look with Tory Burch ballet flats.

A touching family celebration:

The photographs were released to commemorate one week since Kate Middleton completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, during which she climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Waiting to welcome the Princess of Wales at the finish line were Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Carole and Michael Middleton, and Kate's brother, James Middleton.

While the challenge highlighted the Princess of Wales' resilience and determination, the candid family photographs also offered a rare glimpse into a private celebration, and another reminder that Princess Charlotte is quickly emerging as one of the royal family's most closely watched young style icons.

Whether intentionally or not, her latest outfit also paid subtle tribute to one of the most iconic casual royal looks of the 1990s, proving that Prince William's timeless off-duty style continues to inspire a new generation.
