Inside the celebration Queen Rania hosted for royal bride-to-be Rajwa

Queen Rania hosted a Henna party for Rajwa on May 22.

Rajwa is engaged to the King and Queen of Jordan’s eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein.

The bride to be looked stunning at her Henna party wearing an ensemble by Saudi designer Honayda Serafi, according to Vogue Arabia.

The Queen welcomed her guests saying, “I’m so happy that you could all be here to celebrate with us. Today is a special day for us, and to our entire Jordanian family: Our joy is one and the same… near or far, you are all in our hearts today.”

Rajwa’s mother Azza Al Sudairi (pictured to the right of Queen Rania) attended the celebration.

At the party, Queen Rania said that a daughter is usually a reflection of her mother. Her Majesty described Azza as a “gem.”

Rajwa was joined by her future sisters-in-law Princess Salma and Princess Iman at the party.

Rania also hosted a Henna party for her eldest daughter Princess Iman back in March.

Queen Rania said that like any mother, she’s always dreamed of her son Crown Prince Hussein’s wedding.

Rajwa was seen dabbing her eyes as her future mother-in-law spoke. “I’ll never forget how happy His Majesty and I were when Al Hussein told us he wanted to marry Rajwa. She is the perfect answer to all my prayers for him,” the Queen said at the celebration.

The Queen described Rajwa as “the sweetest and most beautiful bride-to-be.”

The party featured performances of traditional Jordanian and Saudi songs by local artists Nedaa Shrara, Diana Karazon, and Zain Awad, in addition to performances by Haleem Musical Group, Al Salt Girls Band, and Misk Dance Company, as well as a Zaffeh for the bride to be and Henna drawing for guests.

Rania’s daughter Salma (left) recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in archaeology.

Per Vogue Arabia, Rajwa’s veil was embroidered with words by Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi that translate to: “I see you, and life becomes more beautiful.”

Rajwa (pictured with her mom and future royal in-laws) will marry the Crown Prince of Jordan on June 1. Hussein revealed at a forum organized by the Crown Prince Foundation that he met his future wife through an old friend from school. Rania’s firstborn reportedly said, “I consider myself lucky because it is not every day you meet someone like Rajwa.”
