This year's Cannes Film Festival is right around the corner. When is it?
The 2025 Cannes Film Festival begins this May 13 and will conclude on May 24. This marks the 78th edition of the festival.
Who's a part of the jury?
The jury will be chaired by the French actress Juliette Binoche. She'll be joined by Halle Berry, Payal Kapadia, Alba Rohrwacher, Leila Slimani, Jeremy Strong, Carlos Reygadas, Dieudo Hamadi, and Hong Sangsoo.
Robert De Niro to receive Honorary Palme d'Or
Robert De Niro will be this year's recipient of the Honorary Palme d'Or for Lifetime Achievement, recognizing his singular career. De Niro will receive the recognition on the festival's opening night.

Tom Cruise will present his "Mission Impossible" movie
Tom Cruise will be presenting his last "Mission Impossible" film. This marks Cruise's third Cannes' appearance, with him attending the 2022 festival to present his hit film "Top Gun: Maverick."
