Kai and Vanessa Trump are making an emotional update. In a new video posted on social media, Kai Trump was joined by her mother, with the two sitting down for a chat for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In their talk, the two discussed Vanessa's most recent cancer results.
The clip was shared on Instagram and featured a teaser of Kai's full vlog, which will be posted on her YouTube tomorrow. In it, the two women are seen chatting on the couch and are later joined by Dr. Nicole Saphier, who shares her outlook on the disease.
"My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. So we'd thought we share her story," said Kai in the clip.
"When it comes to breast cancer, it's not one size fits all," says Dr. Saphier, who joins them on a different location. "It feels different for everyone."
The clip then returns to Kai and Vanessa's initial conversation. "It came back clear," says Vanessa. "So I'm finally cancer-free."
In the post's caption, Kai shared some of the reasoning behind her decision to post a vlog to discuss cancer, hoping to spread awareness of the disease and to share her and her mother's story, hoping it could impact other people.
"October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about early detection, education, and support for those affected by breast cancer," begins Kai's caption.
"I sat down with my mom and Dr. Nicole Saphier to talk about my mom’s journey with breast cancer and learn more about prevention and early detection."
"New video out tomorrow on YouTube! Join us for this important conversation and learn how we can take proactive steps toward our health."
Kai also shared the video on her Instagram stories, adding a link for donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering, one of the largest cancer centers in the country.
