Vanessa Trump is helping her daughter through one of her most exciting and stressful moments. Kai Trump is moving into her first college apartment. Earlier this year, Kai graduated from high school and is starting her college education at the University of Miami. Through it all, she's been supported by her mom, Vanessa, who played a key role in the logistics of the move.
In a video shared on Instagram, Kai and Vanessa are seen talking to the camera as they buy different items from Target. "I'm totally exhausted from going to her apartment and coming back and forth and moving everything," says Vanessa with a smile.
"Well, I kind of messed up the furniture delivery, so she drove to Miami yesterday," explained Kai.
"To wait for three deliveries," added Vanessa.
"They sent them back," laughed Kai.
"It was okay, it was rush hour too, so it was fun times," said Vanessa sarcastically. "What we do for our children, right?" Vanessa continued, saying that Kai needed numerous items for her new apartment, including bedding, cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, and more.
"She already has clothes. I'm not buying clothes. She could open up a clothing store with all the clothes she has."
Kai has been sharing updates with her followers on her college life, sharing videos on YouTube and Instagram. "Back-to-school shopping with Mom!" she captioned the post, adding that she was thankful for all of her mom's help as she begins a completely new stage in her life.
"We spent HOURS shopping for everything I could possibly need for my apartment and getting ready for this new chapter of college life! So thankful my mom was there to do it all with me. She truly is the BEST mom, and I’m so grateful for her. Check out my new vlog to see my first week of school and getting moved in!"
