Adam Driver's son makes incredibly rare public appearance at New York Mets game

Adam Driver's son has made an incredibly rare public appearance. The 42-year-old actor and his 44-year-old wife, actress Joanne Tucker's eldest child watched as the New York Mets won 4-2 against the Miami Marlins at the former's Citi Field stadium during the Spider-Man-themed night on July 31.

Driver and the youngster were full of smiles as they excitedly displayed their matching black Mets caps and waved to the camera, while appearing on the stadium's huge screens.

Little is known about Adam and Joanne's children

The HBO's Girls alum and  Joanne are notoriously private about their family life and have never publicly shared the names of their son and daughter. In December 2023, Adam shared he and Joanne kept the news of his youngest child's birth a secret for eight months.

Appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark, the American Rust cast member said, "She’s eight months. I have an older son who is six, and so she, now she’s eight months and you kind of forget how much babies kinda suck."

Also that year, Adam shared his son is "very protective" over his little sister."

He added on actors Jason Bateman, 57, and 56-year-olds Will Arnett and Sean Hayes' SmartLess podcast, "We gave him, you know, six years of attention, and he's totally fine."

Since becoming a dad, the Ferrari star has become more selective with projects, and he may be put off over how much traveling is required because Adam "can’t be gone that long" from his family.

He explained, "I was working consistently for basically all through my 30s, and now that I have two kids, I've been trying to switch of how I've been working." Adding, "I don’t want to be gone that long anymore."

In 2020 Adam confirmed he was a dad while hosting the NBC sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

During his opening monologue, he joked, "I’m a husband. And a father. It’s in that order though. I’ve been very clear with my son about that, he’s second in everything."

Joanne's sister inadvertently let slip that the star was a mom

Two years prior, Joanne's sister accidentally revealed that the Give or Take performer was a mom when she made her Instagram account public. She shared pregnancy shots from their joint baby shower, and referenced her and Joanne as "new moms".

Adam previously lauded Joanne for helping him "remain a normal person" amid the "Hollywood craziness".

He has said, "She’ll persuade me to go and see old friends, even if I’m not really feeling like it. Having a person like that in your life is far more important than a successful career."
