Demi Moore has a new starring role. The beloved actress is starring in Katseye's new music video and looks younger and better than ever.
Moore stars in "Animal," the new video from the girl band, made up of Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung. The song is a part of their new record, "WILD," scheduled to come out on August 14th. The album will be accompanied by a concert movie titled "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS."
The clip features the performers shifting between their masculine and feminine personas, with there being references to the movie "Bound," directed by The Wachowski sisters. Demi Moore appears, offering some tough love for their outfits.
This isn't the first time that a beloved actress has been featured on their music videos. Jessica Alba was featured on "Gabriela," with the performers praising her acting.
“We were like, ‘Wow, we’re such good actresses.’ And then Jessica Alba came in and this is a real actress,” said Laforteza to Rolling Stone. “This is her life, and when she came in, we were like, ‘S---, we all suck. That’s acting.’"
According to a press release, "Animal" explores "the tension between the polished versions of ourselves we present to the world and the uninhibited energy that emerges behind closed doors." It was co-written by Ed Sheeran
Moore's positive outlook on aging
In past years, Demi Moore has been experiencing a resurgence in her career, with her performance in "The Substance" resulting in an Oscar nomination.
"I can look back and go at 20, at 30, I was finding things that weren’t good enough," said Moore to PEOPLE at the 2024 Gotham Awards. "My relationship with [aging] now is much more in a joyous acceptance.”
"Of course, there's things that you go, 'Oh, I wish that was not that way,' but in terms of the whole, I see myself and the fullness of who I am as opposed to just the external idea of who I am,” she concluded.
