Aryna Sabalenka is making time for fun as she continues to train for her tennis tournaments. The Belarusian player shared an update of what she's been up to, showing images and videos alongside friends and co-workers as she enjoys the beach and plays tennis.
Some of the photos show her wearing a leopard print string bikini, enjoying her time off under the sun. Through it all, her engagement ring, gifted to her by her fiance Georgios Frangulis, is noticeable in most of the shots.
Sabalenka is seen in one of her posts alongside a friend, with the two having their arms wrapped around each other by the beach. Sabalenka wears a graphic t-shirt that she paired with her bathing suit, with her engagement ring visible on her left hand.
As reported by The Daily Mail, Sabalenka's engagement ring was designed by the Miami based entrepreneur Isabela Grutman, who worked with Frangulis to deliver the perfect 12 carat ring featuring Sabalenka's favorite gemstones.
More photos show her smiling, holding on to some snacks with her friend and playfully making faces and gestures at the camera as she prepares to play on the tennis court. "Running around on a beach and tennis court near you," she captioned the post.
More details about Sabalenka's relationship
Sabalenka and Frangulis announced their engagement in March of this year. The two had been together for a couple of years, with her sharing the happy news on Instagram. She shared a video of the moment when Frangulis proposed, getting down on one knee in front of an arragement of flowers. "You & me, forever," she captioned the post.
Following the engagement, the couple has been playfully referencing their wedding, including at a warm up at the BNP Paribas Open, where Sabalenka wore a white tulle accessory that she attached to her headband. Frangulis later tried on the veil, while she threw a bouquet of flowers behind her back, making for some memorable photos.
Sabalenka has revealed that she doesn't take off her engagement ring to play, and that it might even give her an advantange. "It feels shiny," she said in a post match interview. "I hope that my opponent will get distracted by this diamond and it's going to benefit me," she added, laughing.
