Madonna performed with a clear barrier separating her from the crowd. She was located on an elevated platform, and, at one point, dangled a leg over the railing.

"the way I screamed 'madonna no don't!!!!' when she was hanging over the barricade!" wrote a viewer on X.

"Fr I was like grandma noooo omg," wrote a second person.

Madonna is 67, but she looks strong and excited to perform. Following her health scare in 2023, where she contracted sepsis and was hospitalized, Madonna has spoken about the scary experience in the past and how it has pushed her to embrace the present.

"I was rehearsing for my tour, and I got a bacterial infection," she said on an appearance in the podcast "On Purpose with Jay Shetty." "One minute I was alive and dancing around and the next minute I was in the ICU unit of a hospital and I woke up from being unconscious for four days."

Madonna's performance was made in partnership with the dating app Grindr, celebrating the start of Pride month.

Madonna had some outfit changes, wearing a silver cropped jacket that she removed to reveal a Dolce & Gabbana pink bodysuit. She completed the look with a Swarovski necklace. "All right, New York City!" Madonna said to the audience. "Are you ready for this? I said are you ready? Come on, gays! Girls, guys, dolls! Happy Pride!"

As reported by USA Today, Madonna closed out her set with two of her most famous songs, "I Love New York," and "Hung Up."

"I wrote this song just for this city!" she said before singing "I Love New York." "I want to feel you rocking out with me." Madonna is preparing for the rollout of her album, with her being featured in a talk at the Tribeca Festival, where she'll discuss the project with Jimmy Kimmel. The album comes out officially on July 3rd.
