Rosalía has officially postponed the opening dates of the North American leg of her highly anticipated LUX Tour following an unforeseen family emergency.
The Spanish superstar was scheduled to perform two concerts in Miami on June 4 and June 6, followed by a June 8 show in Orlando.
However, promoters Live Nation and venue officials announced that the performances will no longer take place as originally planned.
While the news disappointed many fans eager to see the Grammy-winning artist return to the stage, organizers emphasized that the affected concerts have been postponed rather than permanently canceled.
In a statement shared by Miami's Kaseya venue, organizers explained the situation and reassured ticket holders that efforts are already underway to find new dates.
"Due to a family emergency, Rosalía has to postpone her upcoming concerts in Miami on June 4 and 6. She regrets disappointing her fans, but the circumstances have not left her any other choice. While the tour team evaluates the rescheduling, please hold on to your tickets. We will provide more information soon. Thank you for your patience," reads the statement released by the Kaseya venue.
Fans are being encouraged to retain their tickets while organizers work through rescheduling plans.
Additional information regarding new dates, ticket transfers and refund options is expected to be announced soon. Ticketmaster has also reassured concertgoers that those unable to attend the rescheduled performances will be eligible for refunds.
Although no further details have been shared regarding the nature of the family emergency, the postponement marks another unexpected challenge for Rosalía's otherwise successful LUX Tour.
Before this latest development, the singer had built a reputation for consistency and professionalism on the road, rarely canceling or interrupting performances throughout her career.
The current postponement represents the second major disruption of the LUX Tour era.
Earlier this year, Rosalía was forced to cut short a sold-out concert at Milan's Unipol Forum on March 25 after suffering severe food poisoning.
During the show, the singer addressed the crowd of approximately 11,000 fans and revealed that she had been vomiting backstage before taking the stage.
Despite attempting to continue through the first two acts of the concert, she ultimately could not complete the performance due to her condition.
The Milan incident marked the first time Rosalía had ever been forced to stop a live show mid-performance.
Ticket holders later received full refunds for the interrupted concert.
Aside from the Milan concert and the current Florida postponements, Rosalía has maintained an impressive touring record and has long been praised by promoters and venue partners for her reliability as a live performer.
For now, fans across Florida will have to wait a little longer to see the singer bring the LUX Tour to North America as organizers continue working on new dates for the postponed shows.
