Bella Hadid is one of fashion’s most-watched supermodels. The star took to social media to show off her ultra-toned physique while posing in a cropped military-inspired jacket during a recent mystery fashion shoot shared on Instagram.
The 29-year-old IMG model highlighted her famously tiny waist in the structured jacket, pairing the edgy look with dramatic smoky eye makeup and voluminous honey-blonde hair styled in a sleek blowout.
Hadid also gave fans a glimpse into her intense fitness routine inside the newly uploaded 20-photo Instagram slideshow. One standout moment featured a clip of the supermodel kneeling on a Pilates reformer during a gym session.
The half-Palestinian beauty has been candid about rebuilding her health and strength after being hospitalized last September due to symptoms connected to her 13-year battle with chronic neurological Lyme disease. Since then, Hadid has focused heavily on regaining balance physically and mentally while continuing to dominate the fashion world.
Bella’s workout formula centers around cardio and strength training with a major emphasis on boxing. In an interview with Vogue Paris, the Victoria's Secret angel explained that her sessions are designed to stay challenging and fun. “When time is on my side, I train with my coach for intensive sessions,” she revealed. “I run non-stop for 20 minutes followed by a boxing session and finally a series of weights targeting the abs and glutes.”
Boxing has long been Bella’s favorite way to stay runway-ready, and she credits it for helping her maintain her toned abs and athletic frame. She also incorporates barre workouts inspired by ballet techniques for full-body conditioning. “Definitely boxing,” she shared. “But also Body Ballet. I’ve only tried it once but I can see the long-term results amongst my friends.”
According to Hadid, her routine relies on “nothing other than boxing and a series of targeted ab workouts.” Bella trains closely with Rob Piela, founder of The Ocho System and trainer at Gotham Gym in New York City. The pair has worked together for years, building a training style centered on high-energy boxing drills and strength circuits. “He’s really the best,” Bella told People. “I literally can’t work out with anybody. It has to be me and him.”
The supermodel occasionally trains with her sister, Gigi Hadid, who Bella describes as “strong and sturdy both mentally and physically.”
When preparing for major runway appearances or fashion events, Bella increases her training dramatically, sometimes working out for up to three hours a day.
Before workouts, Bella typically fuels up with smoothies, juices, or protein drinks. After training, she opts for protein-rich meals like chicken with wholegrain rice to support muscle recovery and endurance.
Despite her fitness-focused lifestyle, Hadid has repeatedly shut down restrictive diet culture. Following the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she famously admitted she had every intention of eating pasta afterward. “If you want to have a piece of bread, go have a piece of bread,” she told People.
Her daily meals remain practical and balanced. Breakfast often includes an egg sandwich on a plain bagel, while lunch usually consists of salmon or chicken with vegetables. She also keeps green juices and ginger shots nearby during long days on set to maintain energy levels.
And when work gets hectic, Bella happily orders sautéed kale from her favorite restaurant.
