Jennifer Lopez is incredibly dedicated. The actress and performer shared a look at what she's been up to over the weekend: an early morning gym session. In various photos, Lopez shared a look at some of the benefits of her hard work, stopping the internet in its tracks with her inspiring abs.
In an Instagram post shared on Sunday set to Justin Bieber's "Yukon," Lopez shared three photos from the gym, sharing a look at her hard-won abs. The photos show her with her hair styled in a bun, posing in front of the mirror as she flexes her abs.
She's wearing black tights and a cropped grey top, and captioned the post with a flexed bicep emoji.
The abs prompted a stunned response from her followers. “Those abs!!!," wrote someone, adding various heart emojis. “Pure discipline. Timeless inspiration," wrote a second person.
Lopez is embracing her happiness
As someone who's been in the public eye for the past couple of decades, Jennifer Lopez's ups and downs have been closely monitored by the world, including her romances and family life.
Her on-and-off relationship with Ben Affleck has been the cause of much interest, with the two marrying in 2022 and announcing their divorce two years later.
In a recent interview, Lopez made it clear that she's in a good place right now. “I’m in my happy era,” said Lopez in an interview with "Nightline." “I think, for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free; I’m on my own. And it feels really good.”
She said that, for most of her life, she's always been with boyfriends and partners and that now she's reclaiming her sense of control. “And even before that. I’ve always had boyfriends,” she said. “There was always someone in my life, and so many things that I felt like were out of my control.”
Lopez is now focused on her work. “I’ve gotten to the point where I really trust myself and appreciate myself a little bit more, instead of being so hard on myself and always trying to prove myself,” she said. “I canceled tours and just decided to be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it through work, through another person, through anything – just sit.”
