Justin Theroux and his wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, happily shared on Saturday that they’ve welcomed a baby boy.
The 54-year-old Fallout actor and the 32-year-old The Gilded Age star quietly tied the knot in March last year during a beach ceremony in Tulum, Mexico. Nine months after their wedding, a source confirmed they were expecting their first child, though details like the baby’s sex and due date were kept private.
Over the weekend, the couple revealed their son’s arrival on Instagram, posting a black-and-white photo of the newborn peacefully sleeping on Theroux’s bare chest.
“'He's here,'” Bloom captioned the image, including a dove emoji and adding: “'we are so in love.'”
Friends and fans quickly filled the comments with congratulations, including actress Hannah Einbinder, Queer Eye’s Tan France, and Running Point star Brenda Song.
News of Bloom’s pregnancy first surfaced in December when she debuted her baby bump at the season two premiere of Theroux’s Amazon Prime series Fallout. The pair were initially linked in February 2023, and by that December, Theroux accompanied Bloom to her twin sister Chrissy’s wedding.
By August 2024, Bloom sparked engagement rumors when she appeared alongside Theroux at the premiere of his film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, wearing a striking ring on her left hand. According to a source, Theroux proposed in Italy while the couple attended the Venice Film Festival in support of the film.
The insider told People that he presented her with a four-carat emerald-cut diamond ring designed by Stephanie Gottlieb. Keeping much of their relationship private, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate beach ceremony in Tulum in March 2025.
Theroux was previously married to Jennifer Aniston. The two began dating in 2011, married in 2015, and separated in 2017.
Their wedding was a star-studded event held at Aniston’s Bel-Air home, officiated by Jimmy Fallon and attended by guests including Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Jason Bateman, Chelsea Handler, and Jimmy Kimmel.
They publicly announced their split in February 2018, and a few months later, Theroux reflected on the breakup in an interview with The New York Times.
"The good news is that was probably the most--I'm choosing my words really carefully--it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity," he said at the time. "In a weird way, just sort of navigating the inevitable perception of it is the exhausting part."
