President Donald Trump is discussing one of the biggest topics dominating pop culture. Trump, a big '80s and '90s icon, is addressing JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, the couple who have been highlighted on the TV show "Love Story," prompting a resurgence of '90s fashion and the Kennedy family.

He also revealed that he was featured on the cover of George, the magazine JFK Jr. founded.
He "actually put me on the cover of his magazine."
Trump also discussed JFK Jr.'s much-discussed relationship with Bessette, adding more mystique to it by emphasizing its volatility. “They would go down to Mar-a-Lago together, and they had a very interesting relationship,” he said. “They would bicker together, in other words, have little fights, and then they would make up and start kissing wildly.”
“It was one of those relationships, and you never know how those relationships are going to turn out,” Trump said, concluding that the deaths were "tragic."

JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy died in 1999, in a tragic plane crash he piloted. The couple was accompanied by Lauren Bessette, Carolyn's sister, with all of them dying on impact.
The group was flying towards Martha's Vineyard at night when the plane crashed into the ocean. The Bessette family shared a heartbreaking statement at the time.

The couple's story is currently being revisited in the FX series "Love Story," produced by Ryan Murphy, and exploring their journey from the moment they met until the tragic plane crash. The series has become one of the biggest pop culture sensations of the year, but has also drawn sharp criticism from members of the Kennedy family, most notably, Jack Schlossberg, JFK Jr's nephew.
