Love Story is one of the most-awaited TV shows in recent memory. The anthology series developed by Ryan Murphy will explore different romances throughout its run, kicking it off with one of the biggest '90s love stories, that of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. Ever since the series was announced, it has sparked excitement, outrage, and even complaints from the surviving relatives of JFK Jr.

The series stars Paul Anthony Kelly and Sarah Pidgeon in the lead roles, tracing the couple's love story. The trailer teases their first meeting, with the two being introduced to each other at a work event. Shortly after, JFK visited Bessette's workplace, kicking off their whirlwind romance.
"Love Story" is centered on Bessette's side of the story, particularly in entering a family that was considered American royalty. “So many people have written about the Kennedys,” said Gina Balian, FX Entertainment President, to Variety. “But this was really a book about Carolyn and trying to understand her better. All we knew her from was the downcast eyes.”
Jack Schlossberg's reaction
© DisneyJack Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy and nephew of JFK Jr., was one of the loudest critics of the series. In various posts shared on social media, Schlossberg criticized Murphy's decision to make money off of his uncle's life.
"Lately, my news feed has been filled with pictures of my uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., a great man," he said in a video. "For those wondering whether his family was ever consulted, or has anything to do with the new show being made about him, the answer is no, and there's really not much we can do."
"I hope those making this show about him take seriously what he stood for in his life, all that he achieved in it, and that they donate some of the profits [from] what they're making to the John F. Kennedy Library," he said.
