Even the British royal family celebrates Kate Middleton. Over the weekend, the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Halloween by sharing an adorable and appropriately festive photo of a one-year-old Prince Louis.
The photo was shared on October 31st, with the caption revealing that it was captured by Kate Middleton, who pursues photography in her free time. The image is a never-before-seen photo of baby Louis, wearing a blue raincoat with some jeans and red boots, as he leans close to a big pumpkin, trying to lift it up. He's smiling and looks concentrated as he approaches it.
"Happy Halloween!" reads the post's caption, with a pumpkin emoji. "Prince Louis, aged 1, photographed by The Princess of Wales."
It's a post that comes in the midst of family outings for Prince William and Kate, with them recently sharing a photo of the entire family supporting Kate as she completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, a feat that thousands of people complete yearly in the UK, involving climbing the three highest peaks in Wales, Scotland, and England, all completed within 24 hours.
The image shows Kate being supported by her husband, her kids, George, Louis and Charlotte, and family members and pets.
"On Mountain Rescue Awareness Day, we send our heartfelt thanks to all those who volunteer their time and expertise to keep people safe in some of our most beautiful but challenging landscapes," reads the post's caption.
Middleton's emotional reason for completing the challenge
Earlier this year, it was reported that Middleton had completed the challenge in aid of the hospital that had treated her cancer. She described it as a "chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back."
"Cancer doesn't just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life," she wrote alongside a photo of herself climbing the Ben Nevis peak. "I know this personally, and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone."
Middleton revealed she was undergoing cancer treatment in 2024. The following year, she revealed she was in remission.
