Kim Kardashian just traded her reality TV crown for a graduation cap, and one of her first high-profile fans to weigh in was Ivanka Trump, who called the new law school grad her "favorite" in a gushing Instagram Story.

Ivanka posted a snap of Kim at her backyard graduation ceremony, writing, "Congratulations, Kim! You did it! My favorite law school graduate!" complete with a diploma emoji and some caps-lock excitement. It's a moment that blends Hollywood and high society but also shows how far Kim has come since announcing her legal dreams back in 2019.

From Reality Star to Aspiring Attorney

Kim, 44, officially completed California's Law Office Study Program, a lesser-known route to becoming a lawyer that lets candidates apprentice under practicing attorneys instead of attending a traditional law school. It took her six years due to COVID, but she finally crossed the finish line, celebrating with a cozy yet glam backyard ceremony surrounded by family, mentors, and famous friends.

In a clip from the event, Kim said, "I finally graduated law school after six years!!!" as she adjusted her mortarboard with a grin.

Her mentor, Jessica Jackson, praised Kim's grind, highlighting the 5,184 hours of legal study Kim clocked while raising four kids, running billion-dollar businesses, starring in reality shows, and working on real legal cases.

Ivanka and Kim: A Friendship You Didn't See Coming

Ivanka Trump and Kim Kardashian's friendship has quietly grown over the years, rooted in shared interests in criminal justice reform and perhaps mutual respect for being women who know how to juggle motherhood, power, platforms, and paparazzi.

Their bond started during Kim's visits to the White House in the late 2010s when she successfully advocated for prison reform under President Donald Trump's first administration. Ivanka, serving as a senior advisor at the time, worked closely with Kim on several clemency cases, including the highly publicized release of Alice Johnson.

But their relationship has gone beyond policy. From private dinners to birthday shoutouts, the two have stayed in touch and supported each other publicly. This latest celebratory Story from Ivanka feels like a full-circle moment: law school is complete, and her reform partner is now a full-fledged legal mind.

Support From All Sides

Lauren Sánchez also took to social media to congratulate Kim. The Latina journalist and philanthropist has a new but growing relationship with Kim. The pair recently traveled to Europe to celebrate Lauren's bachelorette party alongside Katy Perry, Eva Longoria, and Kris Jenner.

The Kardashian clan showed up big for the celebration, too. Khloé Kardashian gushed in her Instagram Story: "I am so proud of Kim... I cannot believe this is years and years in the making." In true big sister fashion, Kourtney Kardashian posted a cheeky selfie in Kim's grad cap.

From Baby Bar to Big Dreams

Kim's path hasn't been easy. She failed the "baby bar" — California's challenging First-Year Law Student's Exam — three times before finally passing in 2021. At the time, she celebrated the milestone on social media with raw honesty: "I was told this was close to impossible... but it was my only option, and it feels so, so, sooooo good to be here."

Her end goal was to pass the bar and become a licensed attorney like her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. In the meantime, she's already made a real-world impact by helping free inmates and advocating for justice reform. That's no small feat, and now she has the legal creds to back it up.

Graduating from law school is a massive milestone, but Kim isn't slowing down. Next up is studying for the California Bar Exam. And if her track record is any indication, she's not just coming for a passing score; she's coming for the whole legal system.
