Sofia's first child, Eloise, is about to celebrate her first birthday. She was born on May 20th of 2024, with Sofia commemorating the date at the time with a social media announcement.
"Eloise Samantha Grainge 5•20•24 best day of my life," she captioned an Instagram post, showing her and her husband cradling their daughter's feet.
© @sofiagraingeIn an interview with Vogue, Richie revealed that she and her husband had been trying to have a baby ever since they married in 2023. She recalled the moment she knew she was pregnant:
“He was so excited,” she said. "We spoke the whole way on the phone. And when he came home, he’s such a sweet guy he always wants to protect my emotions and expectations, so he kind of sat me down and said, ‘If these are negative, don’t be upset. Our moment will come.'"
