Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella are making coordinated dressing something of a family tradition.
After stepping out in romantic ivory and pink dresses last month, the mother-daughter duo returned to a similar palette on October 2, this time with a polished take on tailoring.
Together with Prince Albert II and Prince Jacques, they welcomed Italian President Sergio Mattarella and his daughter, Laura, to the Prince’s Palace. The visit marked the first state visit by an Italian head of state to Monaco, giving the family gathering a historic backdrop.
Charlene chose a cream Dior trouser suit, while Gabriella complemented her mother in powder pink. Their outfits shared the same elegant formula. Structured jackets, flowing trousers and shoes in soft neutral shades, with individual details that gave each look its own personality.
Charlene’s suit was Dior, while Gabriella’s jacket featured a tweed-style design. Charlene’s jacket featured notched lapels, covered buttons and a closely fitted waist, flaring gently over the hips.
Wide-leg trousers with crisp front creases balanced the sculpted shape of the jacket, while pointed cream pumps continued the pale palette. Her accessories were understated. sparkling stud earrings added a little light beside her face, and her blonde hair was swept into a neat updo with a soft side part.
Defined eyes and muted pink lips completed the polished daytime look. Beside her, Gabriella offered a softer interpretation of the same silhouette.
Her cropped, collarless jacket featured a subtle woven texture, rounded edges, and two front patch pockets. Loose blush trousers introduced movement, while pink ballet flats with small bows gave the ensemble a charming finishing touch.
She wore her long hair straight with a center part and carried a bouquet of pale pink and cream roses, which was a lovely complement to both outfits.
The appearance recalled another mother-daughter fashion moment just two weeks earlier. At Monaco’s traditional U Cavagnëtu picnic on September 19, Charlene wore an ivory Erdem midi dress with delicate botanical and insect motifs, while Gabriella complemented her in a flowing blush-pink dress.
Their light colors and romantic silhouettes created the coordinated look we covered at the time. For their latest appearance, they traded fluttering dresses for jackets and trousers, keeping the ivory-and-pink pairing that worked so beautifully before.
Gabriella’s outfit echoed her mother’s love of tailoring while retaining playful details of its own, particularly those bow-trimmed ballet flats.
Later that evening, Charlene changed into an embellished champagne Elie Saab gown for the opera and official dinner. But the daytime welcome delivered a fashion highlight of its own, with mother and daughter stepping out side by side in complementary pastel looks.
