Meghan Markle is offering another rare look inside family life with Prince Harry, and this time, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s growing list of hobbies is getting some attention.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a collection of candid family photos on Instagram on September 15 in celebration of Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday. Alongside romantic moments between the couple, the montage featured their children enjoying everything from skiing and cycling to photography and archery.
Meghan kept her birthday message to Harry simple, writing, “He’s simply the best. Happy birthday, my love.❤️” The behind-the-scenes family snapshots offered followers a closer look at what Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, are interested in these days.
Meghan Markle’s New Photos Reveal Archie and Lilibet’s Hobbies
The new photos show that outdoor adventures appear to be a major part of life for the Sussex children.
One image shows Harry and Lilibet skiing together, while another captures the young princess trying her hand at photography as she takes a picture of her dad. Lilibet also appears in a sweet cycling moment, with Harry walking beside her while carrying her bicycle.
Archie, meanwhile, seems to have developed an interest in archery.
One of the photos shows the father and son practicing archery together. Another family shot features Harry, Archie and Lilibet riding in an ATV while the family's black Labrador, Pula, follows nearby.
The photos paint a picture of two active kids whose interests are increasingly becoming visible as Meghan occasionally shares carefully selected glimpses of their private lives.
Princess Lilibet May Be Learning One of Meghan Markle’s Favorite Games
Perhaps the most unexpected detail in Meghan’s birthday tribute was Lilibet’s headband.
In one photo, Lilibet wears a Mahjong-themed headband while sharing a kiss with Harry during a golf-cart ride. Meghan can also be seen sitting at the front of the cart. The accessory may be more than a playful fashion choice.

That would add another activity to Lilibet’s already surprisingly varied hobby list.
The 5-year-old has previously appeared gardening, cooking and harvesting honey with her mother. Meghan shared footage in 2025 showing Lilibet dressed in beekeeping gear while the pair collected honeycomb together.
More recently, Lilibet has also shown off her adventurous side. Photos shared during a family trip to Europe in July 2026 included the young royal doing a backflip into a swimming pool with help from Harry.
Prince Archie Appears to Love Sports and the Outdoors
Archie’s interests seem similarly active. In addition to the latest archery photo, Meghan has previously shared a picture of Harry playing with Archie and an oversized soccer ball. The photo appeared in a family carousel posted earlier this summer.
Archie has also been photographed exploring the garden, and both children have previously joined Meghan in the kitchen for family baking activities.
The newest family footage suggests that outdoor life remains a priority.
Just days before Harry’s birthday, Meghan shared another Instagram Reel showing the family enjoying the British countryside. Lilibet rode a bicycle while Archie ran nearby, and Harry took the children out on the water for a fishing excursion.
Archie and Lilibet Are Exploring Their New Life in the UK
The latest photos arrive during a period of change for the Sussex family.
Meghan, Harry, Archie and Lilibet returned to the U.K. in late August to spend an extended period there. A representative for the couple described the stay as an opportunity for the children to spend more time in a country that plays an important role in their family history.

A September 13 video included country walks, muddy puddles, cycling and fishing. One particularly cozy clip showed a child warming their feet beside a roaring fireplace.
While the Sussexes have shared more family content recently, Archie and Lilibet’s privacy continues to be carefully protected.

To help determine their security needs, RAVEC also asked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to submit details about their daily schedules, including routine activities such as taking their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to school.
All this while Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly pulling their children out of their new school only two days after their first day.
