“I had it on both sides of my family and trying to avoid those kinds of things will, I think, help longevity for me,” she continued. “And that’s my goal.”

According to Kaling, her results came from lifestyle changes. “I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it,” Kaling told Entertainment Tonight in 2022.
