Jennifer Lopez appears to be enjoying a much calmer side of Paris Fashion Week after a tense run-in with photographers. The 57-year-old star stepped out in Paris on Wednesday, September 30, for Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, looking relaxed and smiling as she made her way through the French capital. 

The appearance came shortly after Lopez was filmed telling a group of paparazzi to calm down when photographers crowded around her during an earlier outing. And judging strictly by the new photos, the mood had shifted.

Lopez was photographed smiling as she left her hotel, while other shots from the Stella McCartney show captured her confidently posing for cameras in a dramatic chocolate-brown ensemble. Her expression appeared noticeably more relaxed than during the previous paparazzi encounter, although photos alone cannot establish how she was feeling.

Lopez's latest outing followed an uncomfortable moment with photographers in Paris.

Video from the encounter showed the singer and actress surrounded by paparazzi while walking through the city. Lopez asked the photographers to stop behaving frantically and reminded them that she wasn't going anywhere. After photographers reportedly blamed the chaotic scene on the heat, Lopez stopped and allowed them to take pictures. 

Her next major photographed appearance presented a very different scene. Lopez smiled broadly while walking outside in the rain, surrounded by members of her team. At the Stella McCartney show, she switched into full Fashion Week mode, posing in front of an ocean-themed backdrop and giving photographers several angles of her statement-making outfit.

Jennifer Lopez wears head-to-toe brown Stella McCartney

Fashion-wise, Lopez committed completely to fall's rich brown palette.

She attended Stella McCartney's Spring/Summer 2027 presentation in a head-to-toe brown look centered around a sleek midi dress. The fitted design featured structured shoulders, long sleeves, and a coordinating dark brown belt that emphasized her waist.

But the real attention-grabber was the enormous floor-length faux-fur wrap draped around her shoulders.

The oversized piece swept nearly to the ground, creating a dramatic silhouette that transformed the otherwise streamlined dress into a major Paris Fashion Week moment. Lopez finished the monochromatic styling with pointed brown heels and a small fuzzy brown handbag. WWD also noted that her footwear tapped into the season's croc-embossed shoe trend.

Her beauty look stayed within the same glamorous but relatively understated direction. Lopez wore her highlighted hair long and loose, with face-framing layers around her cheekbones. For part of the appearance, she added a delicate black netted veil across her face.
