Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris are married! The couple, who've been dating since late 2023, broke the news today. The two married privately, alongside their two kids, and told their family and friends after their simple ceremony.
© Tubi via Getty Images“When you get to this stage in your life, you begin to unpack what’s yours and what’s always sort of been for everyone else,” Bush told Vogue, which broke the news.
“You’ve been playing in stadiums in front of 60,000 people since you were 15 or 16, and I started playing a character for tens of millions of people when I was 21," she said, turning to Harris, who was seated next to her. "It’s such a privilege to be able to perform as an athlete or an actor, but it also comes with certain costs.”
Bush and Harris shared that they got married in upstate New York alongside Harris' kids Sloane and Ocean. Harris shares her kids with her ex-wife Ali Krieger. Bush is a proud stepmom.
© Getty Images for A Sense of Home“The kids were just running and happy, and we picked flowers from the property and our daughter Sloane was holding them. It was so fun for them, because it wasn’t this pressure-filled day that’s too much for young kids,” said Harris.
“It was so precious, and zero pressure. I will never forget it, and I think wedding days sometimes aren’t like that,” added Bush. She shared that the two then visited their friends and loved ones to share the happy news.

“I’ve had my lovely book agent who has the patience of a saint and a handful of editors asking me to write a book for a decade. And for nine years, I said no," she told PEOPLE.
“I think when your life finally feels like all the pieces are in the right place, you start to realize why people might want you to share your story."
Bush's book is coming out on October 27th.
