Meg Ryan and Jack Quaid stepped out together for a rare mother-son appearance this weekend, and they looked adorable. The Golden Globe nominee and her 34-year-old son attended the opening night of George Lucas and Mellody Hobson's Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 19, where they posed for photos together.
© GettyThe 64-year-old kept things classic in a black jacquard midi dres, rocking oversized black sunglasses and her signature blonde hair in loose waves. Jack looked sharp in a gray double-breasted suit, white shirt, and black patterned tie.
© GettyThey were two of many celebrities at the event. The opening-night celebration was star-studded with guests including Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Oprah Winfrey, Harrison Ford, and Kim Kardashian.
The museum focuses on visual storytelling across mediums, including illustration, comics, cinema, and painting.
Ryan and Jack rarely make public appearances together. Saturday's event actually marked their first public outing together in nearly nine years. The mother and son duo were last photographed together at a New York Knicks game in December 2017.

"Jack is really talented. He's more of a natural than I'll ever be," she told Glamour in 2023. "That nepo stuff is so dismissive of his work ethic, his gifts, and how sensitive he is to the idea of his privilege."
