Dayanara Torres had another major family milestone to celebrate this weekend as her youngest son, Ryan Muñiz, officially turned 23. The former Miss Universe marked Ryan’s birthday on August 16 with a loving message and a family celebration that brought together some of the people closest to him. Ryan, whom Torres shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, is the younger brother of Cristian Muñiz, 25.
For Torres, who regularly shares her pride in her two sons, Ryan’s latest birthday came during an especially exciting chapter in his life. The 23-year-old has been exploring both music and modeling and recently made his runway debut, adding another accomplishment to an already creative résumé.

Torres celebrated her youngest son on social media with a video offering followers a glimpse at his birthday festivities. “Happy Birthday Ryan. Te Amo,” she wrote, adding, “¡Qué dicha tenerte conmigo y poderte celebrar!” The Puerto Rican beauty queen also affectionately described Ryan as her “cómplice,” “guardaespaldas” and roommate, making it clear that their relationship has grown into a close friendship now that her son is an adult.
The birthday began with a family lunch. Ryan was joined by his mom, his older brother Cristian and the brothers’ girlfriends, Hannah Juliana and Kylie Jane Marco. Ryan also shared a photo of his playful birthday cake on social media.

Marc Anthony was among the performers at the event, along with Chayanne, Ricardo Montaner, Luis Fonsi and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
While it was not confirmed whether Torres and Anthony interacted during the event, their presence at the same celebration made Ryan’s 23rd birthday an especially notable family occasion.

Ryan’s birthday arrives just months after he reached an important career milestone.
In June 2026, he made his runway debut during the inaugural Casa de Campo Fashion Week in the Dominican Republic. Torres was also part of the event as an ambassador and walked the runway herself, but she admitted that watching her son was far more nerve-racking than her own appearance.
“I can breathe easy now,” Torres said after seeing Ryan complete his walk. She also admitted she had been “shaking” while watching him. Ryan described the experience as “super fun” and indicated that he could see himself continuing to explore runway modeling.
The moment represented something of a full-circle experience for Torres. Long before becoming a television personality and radio host, she became internationally famous through modeling and pageantry, winning Miss Universe in 1993.
Now Ryan appears to be developing his own relationship with fashion.
