Dayanara Torres is thrilled to share a major career milestone with her younger son, Ryan Muñiz. Proud to watch him grow professionally, the former Miss Universe revealed that one of the sons she shares with Marc Anthony will debut at the Casa de Campo Fashion Week.

“This is going to be his first runway show, because he’s done a lot of photoshoots, magazines, and modeling for print, but this will be his first time walking a runway,” she said happily during an appearance on El Gordo y la Flaca.

Torres built a career in film, music, and television.

“There will be so many major designers there. And it’s so exciting for me to be alongside my son doing what he has always loved to do, modeling. He has always been interested in it, and I love that,” she continued with a big smile.

The first edition of the event will take place from July 4 through 7 at the exclusive resort of Casa de Campo, located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

Dayanara informed that she will also attend as an ambassador. “I’m so excited they chose me. I love the Dominican Republic, they are like our brothers,” she said, delighted about her role. The event is expected to be focused on art, fashion, and wellness.

A Cultural, Creative, and Wellness-Focused Vision

As Jason Kycek, Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing for Casa de Campo Resort, shared in an interview, this inaugural edition aims to be a groundbreaking event in the fashion world. “There’s an opportunity to meet designers and make connections in an intimate and welcoming setting, and to spend a few days with them personally, ask questions, and more,” Jason explained.

The lineup includes experts and visionaries from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, with the possibility of adding designers from New York and Miami.
