Nicole Kidman may be one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses, but she says her biggest priority will always be her family.

Despite juggling a packed filming schedule, the Oscar winner recently opened up about making sure she’s present for her two teenage daughters, Sunday, 18, and Faith, 15, whenever work wraps.

Racing Home After Every Project

During an interview with Extra alongside her Lioness co-star Zoe Saldaña, Kidman discussed how the cast formed a close bond while filming the hit spy series. According to Saldaña, the actors often spent their downtime together attending concerts, horseback riding and celebrating Thanksgiving as a group.

However, she noted that Kidman always had somewhere else she wanted to be.

"Nicole would if she was there, but as soon as Nicole finishes, she flies home to her family. And it’s so beautiful to see, too," Saldaña said.

Kidman explained that returning home to her daughters always takes priority.

"I go home to my family. I’ve got one child in junior year and one who's a freshman. So, I was like, 'Okay, I got to be there taking care,' you know? Multitasking, right?"

The actress was recently spotted taking a drive with rumored boyfriend Michael Reinstein in his Ferrari, but she made it clear that parenting remains at the center of her life.

Balancing a Demanding Career With Parenthood

Kidman shares Sunday and Faith with country singer Keith Urban. The former couple separated in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, with their divorce finalized in January. Kidman retained primary residential custody of the girls.

She is also mother to Bella, 33, and Connor, 31, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Even with an impressive list of film and television projects, Kidman has continued to make family time a priority. Over the past few years, she's starred in films including Babygirl and A Family Affair, while also leading television projects such as Expats, The Perfect Couple, Scarpetta and Lioness, whose third season premieres Sunday on Paramount+.

Previously, Kidman told Time magazine that her relentless work ethic stems from being a "people-pleaser."

The Family Tradition That Always Lifts Their Spirits

Kidman has often spoken about how much she treasures raising her daughters and the traditions they share together.

One of their favorite rituals involves watching the comedy Bridesmaids whenever they need a mood boost.

"We watch Bridesmaids when we're feeling down, whenever we need a lift," she previously told People. "We watch it, we recite it, we act it out and we do that in the kitchen. And that is our go-to savior film to pull us out of a funk."

She also reflected on motherhood during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in October 2025.

"My children (give me the) purpose of being their protector and their guide, promising them that I'm here and that, no matter what, there’s always a safe place to grow up in," she said.

Celebrating Motherhood

Earlier this year, Kidman marked her first Mother's Day since her split from Urban with a heartfelt tribute to Sunday and Faith.

"To my beautiful girls, the greatest joy is being your mother," she wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback photo of herself giving both daughters a piggyback ride. "Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world."

While Sunday has stepped into the spotlight with a budding modeling career—making her runway debut for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week at just 16 and continuing to appear at major fashion events—Faith has largely stayed out of the public eye. She did, however, make a rare appearance alongside her mother in a luxury beauty campaign released in June 2025.
