Salma Hayek and her family made a stunning impression at a gala in Venice. The Mexican actress was joined by her husband, daughter, and stepdaughter at the event, which was attended by various celebrities and notorious figures in the entertainment world.
For the outing, Hayek, her daughter Valentina Pinault, and her stepdaughter, Mathilde Pinault, wore elegant black gowns. Hayek and Valentina opted for off-the-shoulder dresses, with Hayek showcasing her preference for eye-catching looks with a tight dress embedded with delicate and glittering stones. She styled her hair loose and wavy and wore a delicate makeup palette that allowed the dress to be the star of the outfit.
Valentina wore a similar look, made up of a dress of semi-transparent fabric. It had a slit up the leg, showcasing her silver high heels. She completed the look with black and silver heels and her honey blonde hair straightened.
Mathilde opted for a different look yet embraced the dark color palette. Her gown was long-sleeved, featuring a low cut and a cutout in the midriff. She completed the look with black heels and a delicate golden necklace.
The gala was organized by the Pinault family, led by Hayek's husband, François-Henri Pinault, and the Giorgio Cini Foundation, a non-profit institution in Venice that promotes culture and the arts in the area. Guests of the gala dinner included Zoe Saldaña and her husband Marco Perego, who took photos alongside the Pinault family.
Salma Hayek and her close-knit family
Hayek and Pinault have been married for years, with her often discussing her family life and the fact that she's been a parent to his children as well as her own.
"I always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to. My body, as a miracle, had one," she said in an interview with Red magazine in 2017. "The huge blessing I've had is that my husband has three other children. So I have four. And they are all so different."
The family's kids are made up of Valentina, Mathilde, François, and Augustin, with Hayek sharing updates of all of her children on social media.
“I owe Salma a great lesson,” said Mathilde to Vanity Fair in 2022. “She’s a diva, she has a complicated life, but she taught me how important it is to simplify doubts and fears, how to scale them down to the simplicity of everyday life. I call her often, and when something isn’t working, she has the ability to take the weight out of difficulties and turn them into obstacles you can face step by step.”
