Kanye West brought the most important people in his life to support him on a special occasion. This week, West hosted a fashion show for his brand, Yeezy, with his wife, Bianca Censori, and the four kids he shares with Kim Kardashian in attendance.
Photos show West and Censori alongside the kids, who are all dressed up for the occasion. North West sported her predictably explosive fashion sense, wearing a black leather trench coat, blue wig, and blue contacts.
West's younger kids, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint, all sported stylish and monochrome tracksuits in shades of grey and beige.
The kids posed for photos alongside their dad, with West having an arm wrapped around them.
Bianca Censori also opted for beige, wearing a zip-up bodysuit that she kept dramatically unzipped all the way down to her belly button. She wore matching lace-up boots and styled her hair straight at the top and curled at the ends.
The event was hosted in Los Angeles and featured all manner of celebrities. The event was dubbed "Season 01" by West and marked a fresh start for Yeezy, which had been on a four-year hiatus. The brand was founded in 2015 and sparked enormous sales, especially with its partnerships with Adidas. It was adopted by athletes and celebrities, with its shoes becoming a part of the cultural landscape.
West's relationship with his kids
Over the past years, West's relationship with his family has been the subject of media scrutiny, especially in the wake of West's public statements on Kim Kardashian and her family.
Kardashian has spoken about West and their children, revealing that she tries her best to protect the kids whenever their dad sparks headlines. "I worry about him all day. All the time. That’s the father of my kids, I’ll never not worry about him," she said in Citizen Kim, her new biography, written by Jonathan Van Meter.
"And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with."
She depicts him as a pretty absent figure in their kids' lives. "It is challenging coparenting with someone who comes by every few months," Kardashian said. "But I’m always like, 'Oh, Dad’s traveling.' I still make up stories and protect them because I want them to think their dad is the greatest. But I invite him over all the time."
