Lauren Sánchez-Bezos is getting ready for one of the most exciting events of her career. The journalist and media personality is one of the sponsors of this year's Met Gala, and is already in New York getting ready for her appearance.
As she readies for the Met Gala, Sánchez-Bezos has opted for sober and serious looks. In this instance, she wore a corporate outfit made up of high-waisted chocolate pants paired with a white button-up.
Adding an edge to the look was a cream colored belt, giving the outfit a cinched and dramatic waist. She completed it all with cream colored heels, some sunglasses, a black clutch purse, and her hair styled in a high ponytail.
The Bezos are getting ready for the Met Gala
The Met Gala is taking place next Monday. To prepare, the Bezos will be hosting a pre-party over the weekend, as reported by Variety, with the guest list being kept hidden.
On Monday, the Bezos and Saint Laurent will be the co-sponsors of the Met Gala, which is themed "Costume Art." The Met will also host a Spring 2026 exhibition, inaugurating the new and permanent Condé M. Nast Galleries. “It will be transformative for our department, but I also think it’s going to be transformative to fashion more generally—the fact that an art museum like The Met is actually giving a central location to fashion," said Andrew Bolton, the curator.
Anna Wintour, the former Vogue editor who's been in charge of organizing the Met Gala for decades, has a close friendship with the Bezos. “I think Lauren is going to be a wonderful asset to the museum and to the event," she said. "I'm very grateful for her incredible generosity, and she's a great lover of costume and obviously of fashion.”
This marks the second time Sánchez Bezos has attended the Met Gala, with her walking the runway in 2024.
