Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith have one of our favorite dynamics. The lifelong friends and former couple have been enjoying their days in Los Angeles, spending time together and alongside their daughter, Stella Banderas.
In photos shared earlier this week, Banderas and Griffith were photographed grabbing some dinner at Matsuhisa, a famous Japanese restaurant, with Stella and her husband, Alex Gruszynski.
Banderas and Griffith walked ahead of the couple, arm in arm, comfortably laughing together. The pair were dressed stylishly, with Banderas opting for black pants and a metallic jacket. Griffith wore jeans and a leather jacket, her blonde hair pulled back into a bun.
Banderas emotional trip to Los Angeles
Over the past week, Banderas has been reminiscing about his days in Los Angeles, the city where his daughter and his ex-wife live. In posts on Instagram, Banderas has shared just how much he's enjoyed his days with his family.
In one photo, the group is seen laughing on the couch, with Banderas leaning his head close towards Stella, with Griffith laughing and holding onto her daughter's leg. Gruszynski sits on the edge of the couch, completing the picture. "A lovely and fun moment yesterday in Los Angeles with my son-in-law Alex, my daughter Stella, and my ex-wife and lifelong friend, Melanie," Banderas captioned the moment.
The photo has sparked many comments and support from their followers, with people praising Banderas and Griffith's parenting and maturity when it comes to adapting to their new dynamic and focusing on the happiness of their daughter.
Yesterday, Banderas continued to reminisce, sharing two photos of himself and Stella, capturing the passage of time. The first image was taken decades ago, showing Stella as a young girl in her father's arms, as he smiles widely for the camera as he hugs her. The second photo is current, and shows the two embracing, with Banderas holding on to Stella from behind.
"After this visit to California, I’ve decided to share these snapshots—capturing a brief pause in time, two small fragments of life," he wrote.
