Chris Hemsworth is celebrating his 42nd birthday! The actor has received many congratulations on his special day, including a sweet shoutout from his younger brother Liam, who made sure to highlight his brother's impressive abs.
© Getty ImagesIn a post shared on Instagram, Liam shared a photo of himself and his two brothers, Chris and Luke, as they all enjoyed a day by the water. Liam is seen wearing a grey shirt and a hat to shielf himseld from the sun, while Luke smiled towards the camera with a white t-shirt and some sunglasses.
Chris is seen without his shirt on, flexing his muscles and smiling for the camera.
"Happy birthday brother Chris!" Liam captioned the post. "Thanks for always being such a wonderful legend. Never change. I hope I have abs like you when I grow up. Love you."

"I’ll take the abs, the boat invite, and maybe just 10% of the Hemsworth genetics. Happy Birthday, Chris!" wrote a second person.
The Hemsworth brothers started their careers in Australian soap operas, later on transitioning towards making Hollywood movies and TV shows. While the brothers often poke fun at each other, they've discussed their deep friendship and respect on various occasions.
“He's my hero,” said Liam of Chris in a 2019 interview with GQ. “I look up to him."

Chris received a lot of love from his family this past August 11th, with his wife, Elsa Pataky, also sharing a sweet tribute on her Instagram. The video was set to a Mariachi version of the "Happy Birthday" song, showing many funny and sweet moments of Chris.
The video featured images of Chris spending time with Elsa and their children, India, and twins Tristan and Sasha. It showed a photo of Chris posing with a hand on his hip while carrying the family's Dachshund.
