When you're Michael Jordan, the vacation game is a whole different league. The basketball icon touched down in Sardinia in full GOAT fashion, arriving via private jet with his wife, Yvette Prieto, and their twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel, in tow.

MJ and fam stepped off their sleek private jet like a walking luxury brand campaign. The 61-year-old NBA legend led the way, casually making a case for age-defying swagger in a jumper from his very own Jordan Brand line. Although it would be nice to sit next to Michael Jordan while jetting off to a warm location, this is unlikely to happen as the retired athlete travels in an impressive custom-built $70 million jet. Jordan uses his immense wealth to cater to his needs as a busy businessman. According to Forbes, his net worth as of 2024 is estimated at $3.5 billion, making him the first athlete to reach this elite group of America's wealthiest individuals.

But the Jordans didn't just stop at a runway moment on the tarmac. After their grand jet's arrival, the family headed straight to Porto Cervo, where Jordan's private yacht waited like the floating palace it is.

Docked along Sardinia's most exclusive coastline, the yacht wasn't just a mode of travel; it was a whole lifestyle flex. We're talking luxury interiors, personal crew, and panoramic views of the Mediterranean that probably had even the locals doing double-takes.

Once aboard, the family wasted no time soaking up the summer vibes. Think crystal blue waters, designer shades, and no itinerary other than "vibe and relax." While Yvette and the twins settled in for some laid-back lounging, Jordan did what Jordan does. The six-time NBA champion topped off the whole moment with a fat cigar in hand.

With Sardinia being one of Europe's top luxury destinations, it's no surprise that the Jordans chose this slice of paradise for their summer escape. Porto Cervo is the kind of place where mega-yachts line up, and every sunset feels like a scene from a Bond movie. It's exclusive, opulent, and just low-key enough for A-listers who want to flex without the frenzy.

Michael Jordan's new jet

Jordan's airplane is a custom-built Gulfstream G650ER jet valued at $70 million. The jet's exterior has a printed paint job estimated to cost over $500,000. While its colors alone make the jet distinctive, what elevates the look is the addition of the iconic Air Jordan "Jumpman" logo on the tail of the plane. In addition, the tail number N236MJ has significance. The "23" is Jordan's jersey number during his career with the Chicago Bulls, while the "6" refers to his six NBA championships. The "MJ" is his initials.

This jet is one of the fastest and most advanced business jets available. It can fly up to 7,500 miles without needing to refuel, making it perfect for long-distance travel.
