Belinda is getting ready for the release of her new album. Over the past month, she's been attending all manner of prestigious occasions, including the Cannes Film Festival. She's also been showcasing some exciting collaborations, including a rumored song with Jared Leto.
Earlier this month, Belinda revealed that she had a song with Leto and that it would be featured on her upcoming album, "Indómita."
In an interview with Publimetro, Belinda shared the name of the song: "Never Not Love You," and revealed that it would be in the style of regional Mexican music without losing sight of Leto's characteristic sound and vocals. She also shared that the song would be performed in Spanglish.
Belinda revealed that the collaboration between her and Leto resulted in both of them developing a great amount of respect for each other. "When I finished recording the song, he told me, 'Beli, I admire you so much.' For someone like him to say that to me... It's something I can't explain," she said in Spanish.
More details about Belinda's new album
Belinda's awaited new album finds her exploring different music genres. She's revealed that a big part of the project is the visuals, and says that she's working on a music video with Leto.
"All of the artists I've worked with have told me, 'Beli, what is this? It's a movie!' And I say, 'Yeah, it's a movie,' because my audience expects a lot of me," she said, sharing that visuals have always been an important part of her shows and performances.
While Belinda shared no more of her collaborators, she confirmed that there would be other international artists involved in the project, labeling their work as "incredible."
"Indómita" will be released globally on June 5th, 2025. It marks Belinda's first record in 12 years, following up on "Catarsis," which charted in Mexico and the US.
