The actress and performer attended last night's premiere of the second season of "The Last of Us," HBO's landmark streaming hit. She was joined by her cast and crew members, including Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Kaitlyn Dever, and more.

While Merced has been careful to avoid spoilers regarding her character in "The Last of Us", she's shared some of the things she's most excited about in the incoming season.
"I think it's the romance between the two of us that really... Ugh, it brings a tear to my eye," she said regarding her relationship with Ramsey's character Ellie in the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast. "I have a whole playlist for Dina and Ellie. It's beautiful."
She also revealed that her casting process was relatively easy, taking place after a generic meeting between herself and the series' showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. "I guess they decided there and then that they wanted me. So that's wild. I don't even think I believe in myself that much," she said.
The second season of "The Last of Us" premieres this April 13th, on Max.
