Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter, Apple, has made her society debut. The 20-year-old woman was one of the debutantes at the 2024 Bal des Débutantes, where she was accompanied by Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck. Leo, while less famous than his date, is also the scion of a prominent family. He's the son of filmmaker Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.

The clip shows Leo calling to her attention, showing her a TikTok dance move that results in a brief exchange between the two, finalized by Apple dramatically rolling her eyes.
The pair is then recorded as they walk towards the crowd and are introduced, wrapping their arms around each other as guests and family members take photos and videos of them.

The Bal des Débutantes is an annual invitation-only event that's meant to introduce women of prominent families to society. Participants must be between the ages of 16 to 22, with the event also raising money for charity.
Debutante balls are popular in pop culture and in shows like "Bridgerton." The practice stems from an 18th-century tradition where young women were introduced into society to acquire wealthy marriage prospects.
Various celebrity kids have attended these events, including Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, Tallulah and Rumer Willis, the daughters of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Lily Collins, Margaret Qualley, and more.
Apple's family members, including Paltrow, Martin, her brother Moses, and her grandmother Blythe Danner, were also in attendance.
