Princess Charlene brought a polished touch to a sporting engagement in Monaco, pairing understated tailoring with an accessory that gave her look extra personality.
Wearing a taupe trouser suit and tortoiseshell glasses, the princess attended the presentation of the national rugby sevens team’s 2026–2027 season at Monte-Carlo Bay on October 7.
Her outfit offered an elegant formula for autumn dressing. The double-breasted blazer featured structured shoulders, notch lapels and pale buttons, with flap pockets adding to its classic tailored finish.
Matching trousers fell just above the ankle, revealing pointed-toe pumps in a coordinating neutral shade. Beneath the jacket, Charlene wore a crisp white shirt buttoned to the collar. Its clean lines complemented the suit’s sharp silhouette, while the cuffs peeked out from her blazer sleeves.
The restrained palette kept the focus on the cut of the clothes, with each piece contributing to the outfit’s cohesive feel.
Her tortoiseshell glasses brought warmth and definition to the ensemble. With their softly rounded shape and amber-and-dark pattern, the frames stood out against the muted tailoring, becoming one of the most distinctive details of her appearance.
Charlene’s beauty look was equally considered. Her blonde bob was parted to the side, tucked behind one ear and styled with a gentle outward curve at the ends. Small stud earrings added a discreet finishing touch, while softly defined eyes and a coral lip brought a little color to the neutral outfit.
The engagement also gave the princess an opportunity to celebrate an important sporting milestone. According to the Prince’s Palace, Charlene attended in her capacity as president of the Monégasque Rugby Federation, accompanied by her brother, Gareth Wittstock.
During the presentation, she announced that Monaco’s national rugby sevens team had qualified for the fourth edition of the European Games, which the palace said will take place in Istanbul in June 2027.

With sharp tailoring, coordinated heels and distinctive frames, Charlene delivered a look that felt polished and approachable for a day celebrating Monaco’s athletes.
