Building on decades of diplomatic ties:

According to Chinese officials, the discussions also acknowledged the long history of friendly relations between Denmark and China, including the role the Danish royal family has played in fostering those connections over the years.

The talks touched on continued economic cooperation, growing trade, and people-to-people exchanges, while also recognizing Denmark's role in supporting dialogue between China and the European Union.

The meeting also served as a reminder of the decades-long relationship between Denmark and China. During the talks, Wang Yi referenced the official visits made by Queen Margrethe II, whose reign was marked by continued diplomatic exchanges with China.

Her visits helped strengthen cultural and political ties between the two nations, a relationship King Frederik X is now continuing through his own international engagements.
