Mum's the word for this royal mom! As Queen Mary of Denmark left her engagement in Tårnby on Wednesday, Her Majesty was asked about her 19-year-old son Crown Prince Christian's reported girlfriend, Emma. One journalist, via SE og HØR, inquired (translated to English), "Your Majesty! What do you think of the Crown Prince's Emma?"

The Queen, looking business chic in a striped suit, did not react to the question. Instead, a video shared by SE og HØR shows Mary continuing to walk and shake hands before waving and getting into her car.

Earlier this month, Her Majesty's son Christian was spotted at Smukfest music festival with Emma. Billed-Bladet reported on Aug. 8, with the headline (translated to English) "Romance in the Bøgeskoven: Crown Prince Christian takes Emma to Smukfest," that the Crown Prince attended the music festival with "his Emma," who, like Christian, is said to have graduated from Ordrup Gymnasium last year.

SE og HØR has described Emma as the Crown Prince's "flame" and reported that the two were in the French Riviera this summer, where they were "spotted in loving embraces and with warm kisses under the sun."

Emma was reportedly a guest at a private birthday celebration held at Amalienborg for Christian's 18-year-old sister Princess Isabella earlier this year.

The Crown Prince is the eldest of King Frederik and Queen Mary's four children. He became first in line to the Danish throne upon his father's accession in January of 2024. Christian recently resumed his military education. On Aug. 11, the Crown Prince arrived at Antvorskov Barracks in Slagelse to begin his Lieutenant's Training Course. Per SE og HØR, press was invited on Thursday to Antvorskov Barracks, but no questions and spontaneous comments were allowed. The outlet noted that "all talk about love and summer festivals" was "strictly forbidden."

Christian began his military service at the Guard Hussar Regiment (Gardehusarregimentet) this past February. It was announced in May that the Crown Prince had been admitted to the Lieutenant's Training Course. The Danish Royal House previously stated that the course "lasts one year plus a subsequent period of practical service as a platoon leader." Discussing the course in May, Christian admitted, "I'm really looking forward to that."
