The Jordanian royal family is growing! Princess Iman of Jordan and her husband Jameel Thermiotis are expecting their first child. The Princess' mother, Queen Rania, revealed her daughter's pregnancy on Friday, Jan. 24, with a photo of the parents to be on Instagram.

Her Majesty took to her personal account to share a scenic snapshot of Iman, 28, showing off her baby bump as she and Jameel stood facing each other with their hands behind their backs. "Two is a couple, three is a blessing ❤️," Rania penned alongside the post.

The Queen also wrote (translated to English), "Both are dear to my heart, but the coming one is more precious 😉 ..... May God end well."

Rania did not reveal when the baby is due in her caption. News of the couple's pregnancy comes less than two months before the Princess and her husband's second wedding anniversary. Iman, who is King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan’s second child and eldest daughter, married Jameel on March 12, 2023.

Iman and Jameel's baby will be the King and Queen's second grandchild. The Princess' older brother Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa welcomed their first child, daughter Princess Iman, on Aug. 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center. The Crown Prince has shared that his daughter is his sister Iman's "namesake."

Following the birth of her first grandchild, Rania wrote on X (translated to English): "Praise be to God for His greatest gifts... You have enlightened our lives with our precious granddaughter, Iman. May God protect us from you. Congratulations to Hussein and Rajwa, and may God fill your lives with blessings and contentment."

The proud grandmother also posted photos of the royal baby on Instagram the day she was born, writing: "Iman, you’ve already got a hold of my heart. Our family has never been happier! ♥️."

Before her kids got married, Rania spoke about her desire to one day be a grandmother. During an appearance on Good Morning America in 2022, the Queen said: “I used to always say my favorite title is mama, but I think that’s going to quickly change” to the “Arabic word for grandma.”

“My goal is to be like fun grandma,” Rania added. "We have a saying in Arabic that no person is dearer to us more than our children than our grandchildren. So I’m really excited to have babies in my life soon."
