Nearly thirty years after Queen Rania and King Abdullah II tied the knot at Zahran Palace, their eldest child, Crown Prince Hussein married his fiancée Rajwa Alseif at the same venue.

Hussein and Rajwa were married in an Islamic marriage ceremony on June 1. The ceremony, held in the gazebo located in the palace’s garden, was attended by around 140 guests, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

Rajwa walked down the aisle with the Crown Prince’s younger brother, Prince Hashem.

Rajwa and Hussein got married on June 1 at Zahran Palace. Royal Hashemite Court Imam Dr. Ahmed Al Khalaileh presided over the ceremony.

The Islamic marriage ceremony was attended by around 140 guests, including members of the Jordanian royal family, as well as other invited royals and heads of state.

The Crown Prince and Rajwa got engaged in 2022.

Following the ceremony, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that a royal decree had been issued, bestowing the title of “Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein on Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif, on the occasion of her marriage to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein.” The Princess is pictured here with her now-brother-in-law Prince Hashem before the ceremony.
